Meet Janie

Originally from the Midwest, I delightfully now call sunny warm San Antonio, TX home where I enjoy volunteer work, travel, working out, rodeos and hiking in Hill Country. 

 

Back in 2013 my entire world changed forever when my marriage ended. It truly felt like a shock to everyone. I was left feeling so lost about what had happened and who I was. I realize now how much God can turn worldly hurt into something good for His glory.

The next several years would be a soulful journey of searching for answers, healing and rediscovery. I made many mistakes and learned many lessons.  I am so grateful for God's grace, love, mercy and compassion through these trials and now I want to share this journey of hope, new beginnings and encouragement with you. 

​

These trials have helped me rediscover who I am in Christ and what is really important in this life that He has granted me. I have healed by showing up consistently to face my mistakes, deepen my roots in a relationship with Him, studying His Word, developing discernment and discipline, working to serve His Kingdom and uprooting myself a little bit each day from the ways of the world. 

​

I am here now to encourage other mid-life Christians, help them discover their purpose in Him and live in peace during this season of life. 

 

We serve a God of action and I believe you can reach this all by submitting yourself to doing things God's way.  A divinely done way. 

 

For my singles, I know that being single can feel so isolating and rejecting, especially later in life! But I assure you, you are not rejected or forgotten and God has a special plan for this chapter of your life! Instead of seeking our own agenda in the frustration of our rebellion, how divine would it be to surrender to the flow and calm of a Godly divine way.
